Uzbekistan and Poland Discuss Pharmaceutical Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 5 November 2025, the leadership of Uzbekistan’s Agency for Foreign Investment held a meeting with a delegation of Polish pharmaceutical companies, led by Krzysztof Kopec, President of the Union of Employers of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Poland.

The delegation included representatives from leading Polish pharmaceutical companies — Polpharma, Adamed Pharma, and Biofarm. During the discussions, the parties explored prospects for investment projects, expanding international cooperation, and exchanging expertise in the pharmaceutical sector.

The Polish side highly appreciated Uzbekistan’s active implementation of international standards, including the WLA (World Listed Authority) system, which opens new opportunities for domestic manufacturers to access global markets and strengthen export potential.

The meeting was conducted in a constructive and businesslike atmosphere. Both sides expressed mutual interest in further strengthening cooperation and developing long-term partnerships between the pharmaceutical industries of the two countries.
