Uzbekistan and Poland Discuss Expanding Interparliamentary Cooperation and Trade
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Chairman of the Senate Committee on International Relations, Foreign Economic Relations, Foreign Investments, and Tourism, Alisher Agzamkhodjaev, held a meeting with a delegation led by Pawel Kowal, Chairman of the Sejm Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for further developing interparliamentary cooperation between Uzbekistan and Poland, strengthening friendly and trust-based relations, and expanding trade and economic ties between the two countries.
Special attention was given to increasing investment and export volumes through enhanced interparliamentary dialogue, the establishment of trade houses and investment companies, and the expansion of transport-logistics and interregional cooperation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to continue strengthening interparliamentary links, exchange legislative experience, and promote cooperation between local councils.
