Uzbekistan and Paraguay Agree to Launch Practical Cooperation in Mining and Geology

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 25 February, representatives of a delegation from the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting in Asunción with Mauricio Bejarano, Vice Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy at the Ministry of Public Works and Communications of the Republic of Paraguay.

The meeting covered the launch of practical work in promising areas of mining and geological cooperation agreed upon by the presidents of Uzbekistan and Paraguay, as well as the acceleration of scientific and technical cooperation in the sector.

As an outcome of the talks, the parties agreed to sign a number of documents within the established timeframes and procedures.
