Uzbekistan and Palo Alto Networks Define Priority Areas for Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During a visit to the United States, a delegation led by First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, Olimjon Umarov, held meetings in New York and California with major global IT companies.
The main focus of the discussions was the expansion of cooperation in e-government and telecommunications.
Particular attention was given to negotiations with Kumar Ramachandran, President of the NetSec division at Palo Alto Networks.
The parties discussed training Uzbek specialists in network technologies and cybersecurity, as well as the prospects for implementing Palo Alto Networks solutions at the Data Processing Center of the “Digital Government” system.
The meeting resulted in the identification of key priority areas for further cooperation.
These include auditing information systems and assessing their vulnerabilities, developing methodological frameworks for the public sector and industry, and implementing artificial intelligence technologies to enhance information security within the digital government.
