Uzbekistan and Palo Alto Networks Agree on Strategic Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, together with the Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, held a working meeting in the United States with Daniel Croze, Vice President for Government Policy and Engagement at Palo Alto Networks.
During the discussions, the parties explored the exchange of international experience and best practices in cybersecurity, including secure data storage, threat detection and neutralization, as well as the organization of consultations and training programs in these areas. Special attention was given to evaluating young startup projects for compliance with security requirements and technological standards.
The meeting also addressed opportunities for implementing artificial intelligence technologies, automated monitoring systems, threat detection algorithms, and modern encryption methods in Uzbekistan.
Following the talks, both sides agreed on long-term strategic cooperation, the introduction of new cybersecurity programs, the development of innovative solutions, and the training of qualified specialists to work in this sector.
