Uzbekistan and Pakistan Sign Memorandum of Cooperation in Geological Exploration

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Within the framework of the Uzbek–Pakistani business forum held in Islamabad, a delegation from the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan held talks with representatives of HRL Group.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for joint geological exploration at deposits of copper, gold, and other strategically important mineral resources in Pakistan, drawing on Uzbekistan’s experience in this field.

As a result of the talks, Ministerial Adviser B. Narmatov, Chief Executive Officer of Uzbek Overseas Geology Company LLC Kh. Omonov, and a representative of HRL Group signed a memorandum of cooperation, formalizing the two countries’ intention to develop partnership in the mining sector.
