Uzbekistan and Pakistan Discuss Strategic Partnership Priorities for 2026

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 5 January, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Ahmed Farooq.

During the talks, the sides discussed current issues of the Uzbek–Pakistani strategic partnership, reviewed the results of cooperation in the political, trade and economic, and cultural and humanitarian spheres for 2025, and outlined priority areas of cooperation for 2026.

Particular attention was paid to coordinating the schedule of upcoming joint visits and events at various levels.
