Uzbekistan and Pakistan Discuss Preparations for Upcoming High-Level Meetings

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 12 January, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a phone conversation with Senator, Deputy Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Ishaq Dar.

During the discussion, the parties addressed preparations for upcoming high- and top-level meetings, including shaping their substantive agendas and anticipated practical outcomes.

Special attention was given to further deepening strategic partnership and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in priority areas.

The sides noted the consistently positive trajectory of Uzbek-Pakistani relations, emphasizing the solid foundation of mutual trust and shared understanding of key bilateral issues, which creates favorable conditions for the continued development of dialogue between the two countries.
