Uzbekistan and Pakistan Discuss New Joint Projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry Advisor Alisher Shaykhov met with Muhammad Ishaq, CEO of Moeed’s Industries (Pvt) Ltd, and Malik Sajjad Gul Ava, Executive Director of Sarhad Board and Chemicals (Pvt) Ltd, during their official visit from Pakistan.

The parties explored opportunities for joint production, industrial cooperation, and investment. Pakistani companies with 30 years of experience in nutraceuticals, chemicals, paper and cardboard production, and packaging expressed readiness to implement projects in Uzbekistan.

During the visit, the delegation toured industrial and pharmaceutical facilities in Namangan, Andijan, Khorezm, and Tashkent, showing particular interest in paper manufacturing.

At the conclusion of the meetings, both sides agreed to advance joint projects to a practical stage, establish a working group with relevant agencies, and continue bilateral dialogue.
