Uzbekistan and Oracle Discuss Cloud Technology Development

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, held a meeting with Allison O’Brien, Managing Director for Government Engagement at Oracle, during an official visit to the United States.

The discussions focused on the implementation of Uzbekistan’s digital transformation strategy, “Uzbekistan–2030,” as well as on attracting foreign direct investment and further developing the cloud technology market.

Special attention was given to the potential for large-scale adoption of cloud services not only in Uzbekistan but also across Central Asia.

It was noted that such initiatives could accelerate the growth of the digital economy, expand IT service exports, and support the creation of a sustainable startup ecosystem in the region.
