Uzbekistan and Oman Identify Key Areas of Partnership in Tourism
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During the 26th session of the UN World Tourism Organization General Assembly in Riyadh, Umid Shadiev, Chairman of the Uzbekistan Tourism Committee, met with Salim Al-Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism of the Sultanate of Oman.
The discussion focused on preparing and signing a Memorandum of Cooperation between the tourism administrations of the two countries and identifying key areas for future partnership.
Particular attention was given to the development of cultural, historical, and eco-tourism, exchanging experience in managing tourist facilities, as well as organizing joint promotional campaigns and participating in international tourism exhibitions and forums to promote the tourism potential of both Uzbekistan and Oman.
