Uzbekistan and NVIDIA Discuss Development of Artificial Intelligence Projects in Key Sectors

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov and Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry Abdulla Azizov met with Calista Redmond, Vice President of NVIDIA, a leading global technology company.

Headquartered in the United States, NVIDIA is a world leader in artificial intelligence and graphics processing technologies. The company generates annual revenues exceeding $60 billion, and its solutions are widely applied across various sectors, including healthcare, industry, energy, transportation, and scientific research.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of artificial intelligence in Uzbekistan. Priority areas were identified in the textile, mining, engineering, and medical sectors.

The sides agreed to identify key projects in these industries and implement them with the goal of achieving global recognition.
