Uzbekistan and Monos Group Discuss Investments in Pharmaceutical Production

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with representatives of Mongolia’s largest pharmaceutical company, Monos Group.

During the discussions, both sides explored prospects for bilateral cooperation and sought local partners for the Mongolian company. The delegation expressed interest in establishing production in Uzbekistan for injectable medicines and plant-based pharmaceutical products and confirmed its readiness to invest in the country.

Abdulla Azizov presented the Tashkent Pharma Park pharmaceutical cluster project and briefed the guests on the support measures and conditions established at each stage of the project’s implementation.

The meeting concluded with agreements on cooperation in information exchange, educational programs, and scientific research activities.

Founded in 1990, Monos Group is one of Mongolia’s largest pharmaceutical and cosmetic companies. The group comprises more than 16 subsidiaries involved in pharmaceutical production, dietary supplements, cosmetics, and plant-based medicinal raw materials, as well as education, IT, trade, and service sectors.

Monos Group employs over 2,500 people, and its products are exported to Japan, South Korea, and Kyrgyzstan.
