Uzbekistan and Latvia Sign Memorandum on Cooperation in the Pharmaceutical Sector
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Within the framework of the 6th Eurasian Pharmaceutical Summit held at the Tashkent Pharma Park cluster, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the State Institution “Center for Pharmaceutical Product Safety” of Uzbekistan and the State Agency of Medicines of Latvia.
The agreement opens new opportunities for collaboration in the registration of pharmaceuticals, exchange of experience and best practices, harmonization of regulatory approaches, and improvement of the quality and safety of medicines.
It is noteworthy that Latvia is a member of the European Union, and its pharmaceutical regulatory system fully complies with high EU standards.
Therefore, establishing cooperation with Latvian partners will contribute to the integration of Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical system into international standards.
