Uzbekistan and Latvia Agree on Plans for Joint Consultations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 14 November, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrahimov held a meeting with the Ambassador of Latvia to Uzbekistan, Girts Jaunzems.

During the discussion, the parties reviewed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Latvia in the political, economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres, and outlined the main directions of work for 2026.

The meeting concluded with agreements to hold political and consular consultations between the relevant departments of the foreign ministries of both countries, as well as to convene the next session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation and a meeting of the Joint Commission on International Road Transport.
