Uzbekistan and Lamar Holding Discuss Expansion of Investment Cooperation and Infrastructure Projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 11 February, the Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, met with Dr. Lina Nureddin, President and Founder of Lamar Holding.

The talks focused on expanding investment cooperation and launching infrastructure projects.

The parties explored prospects for implementing public-private partnership projects in the energy and social infrastructure sectors. A portfolio of PPP projects scheduled for launch in 2026 was presented.

Special attention was given to the modernization of electricity and gas networks, development of water supply systems, construction of medical facilities, and the implementation of a program to establish modern schools.

An agreement was reached to develop pilot initiatives and conduct technical consultations.

Lamar Holding, founded in 2008 in Bahrain, primarily operates in Saudi Arabia. The company specializes in large-scale PPP projects in the oil and gas, water, and infrastructure sectors. Its portfolio is valued at US$2.5 billion, with US$500 million in assets, over 20 subsidiaries, and more than 5,000 employees.
