According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, working groups of the joint Uzbek-Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Commission on Delimitation and Demarcation of the State Borders held a meeting in Namangan from 5 to 13 August 2017.
During the meeting, the delegations of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan continued to describe the borderline in the areas where the positions coincide.
The sides also carried out field survey and topographic and geodetic work on some sections of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz border.
At the end of the meeting, the working groups signed the protocol.
