Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan Agree on Next Steps to Strengthen Regional Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev.
During the talks, the parties reaffirmed the high level of trust and good-neighborly relations that form the foundation of Uzbek-Kyrgyz ties.
They discussed new avenues for expanding cooperation in trade, energy, transport, and cultural exchange, with particular attention to joint efforts within the framework of the UN and other international organizations.
Both sides expressed their commitment to further strengthening a solid partnership aimed at ensuring peace, stability, and sustainable development both within the region and beyond.
