Uzbekistan and Kuwait Discuss Cooperation at the 43rd UNESCO Session
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 4 November, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bahromjon Aloyev held a meeting with Minister of Education of the State of Kuwait, Saeed Jalal Al-Tabtabaei.
The high-ranking guest noted that the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand was marked by productive discussions and mutually beneficial agreements, expressing deep appreciation to Uzbekistan for creating opportunities for dialogue.
The minister emphasized that the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Kuwait in February this year and the high-level exchange of views between the leaders of the two countries opened a new chapter in the history of bilateral relations.
During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the prospects for cooperation in the fields of culture, education, science, and digital technologies, and exchanged views on joint efforts to study Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage, which has made a significant contribution to Islamic civilization.
