The document was signed during the visit of the Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan Saken Zhasuzakov to Uzbekistan. The head of the military department of Kazakhstan met with the Minister of Defense of Uzbekistan Kabul Berdiyev.

The military cooperation plan includes activities within the framework of joint operational and combat training of troops and in the field of military education.

It should be noted that such document was concluded for the first time in the history of bilateral relations between the military departments of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
