Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan Sign 2026–2027 Foreign Ministry Cooperation Program
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 31 March, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with his Kazakh counterpart, Ermek Kosherbayev, to discuss key areas of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
Saidov emphasized the significance of the visit, highlighting the warm reception of Kazakh colleagues and underscoring the strong political will of both countries’ leaders, which supports the development of strategic partnership.
The minister noted that in recent years, Uzbekistan–Kazakhstan engagement has reached an unprecedented level, encompassing political, economic, and transport-logistics sectors.
The meeting concluded with the signing of a Cooperation Program between the foreign ministries of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan for 2026–2027.
The program aims to further strengthen bilateral ties and create conditions for expanding trade, economic, and transport-logistics cooperation.
Both parties expressed confidence that upcoming joint initiatives and negotiations will provide additional momentum to the Uzbekistan–Kazakhstan strategic partnership and alliance, ensuring stability and mutually beneficial cooperation in the region.
