Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan holds joint military exercises
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan held the second stage of joint tactical and special exercises on the basis of the training center "Forish" (Uzbekistan). This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan.
During the exercises, the units of the Special Operations Forces of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan fulfilled the tasks of conducting special reconnaissance, blocking and destroying the conditional group of an illegal armed formation in a mountain village, the advancement of advancing reserves by the guidance of aviation and the correction of artillery fire.
As a result of clear interaction, the issues of management and comprehensive provision of contingents in the conduct of special operations in the territories of both states have been worked out.
Based on the results of the tactical and special exercises, the tasks assigned to the units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have been successfully accomplished, the goals of joint Kazakh-Uzbek exercises have been achieved.
It is planned that such exercises will be held on a regular basis.
It should be noted that the first stage of the exercises took place in Kazakhstan in mid-July 2018. During the first stage of the exercises, the units of the Special Operations Forces of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan fulfilled the tasks of conducting reconnaissance and combat operations at night.
