Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan Foreign Ministers Discuss Strengthening Strategic Partnership

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a telephone conversation with the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yermek Kosherbayev.

Saidov congratulated his counterpart on his appointment and wished him success in fulfilling his important diplomatic mission.

During the conversation, the ministers discussed ways to further strengthen the strategic partnership and allied relations between the two countries, as well as cooperation within regional and international organizations.

Both ministers emphasized their readiness to continue close coordination between their foreign policy institutions to ensure the effective implementation of all agreements reached by the leaders of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
