Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan Discuss Developing Bilateral Tax Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Chairman of the Tax Committee of Uzbekistan Farrukh Pulatov held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan Beibut Atamkulov.

During the talks, both sides reaffirmed the high level of bilateral cooperation in the tax sphere and noted its continued progress. Special attention was given to improving tax administration, digitalizing processes, and fostering mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

Discussions also covered the coordination of approaches in the context of ongoing economic reforms and integration processes, including Uzbekistan's accession to the World Trade Organization, as well as measures to improve the investment climate and support businesses.

Following the meeting, the participants expressed their readiness to further deepen practical cooperation and continue constructive dialogue in the field of taxation.
