Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan Discuss Cooperation in the Mining Sector

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 20 February, Bobir Islomov, Minister of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of Uzbekistan, met with Beibut Atamkulov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan.

The meeting focused on the current state of cooperation between the two countries in the mining and geology sector, as well as plans for joint work in 2026.

The parties exchanged views on geological exploration, the efficient use of mineral resources, workforce development, and the implementation of joint projects.
