The sides discussed course of implementation of agreements, reached in June 2013 in the result of Uzbek-Kazakh high level meeting in Tashkent city, the press service of the Uzbek Ministry said.
The sides exchanged opinion on agenda of planned official meetings and events.
Currently, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan signed over 160 agreements in various areas. In 2013, trade turnover between two states exceeded US$3.244 billion, which is significantly higher compared to 2012.
The sides also are working on expanding cultural-humanitarian cooperation as both countries pays great attention to development of ties in this area, it was noted at the meeting.
