Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan Agree on Joint Efforts to Combat Banking Fraud

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — An official meeting took place in Tashkent as part of “ICT Week Uzbekistan – 2025” between the State Unitary Enterprise “Republican Center for Telecommunications Network Management of Uzbekistan” and the Kazakh company ATS Mediafon KZ.

The parties discussed improving the management system of telecommunications networks and prospects for cooperation in implementing modern solutions to counter banking fraud.

Participants emphasized that, amid the rapid development of digital technologies, it is especially important to establish joint coordination aimed at strengthening cybersecurity and enhancing the reliability of telecommunications services. This approach will provide additional protection for users against fraudulent and illegal operations.

Following the discussions, a memorandum of cooperation was signed, outlining the exchange of experience, joint implementation of projects, and coordinated efforts in combating banking fraud.
