Uzbekistan and Jordan Establish Joint Working Group for Investment Projects
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 30 September, a meeting took place in Amman between Shohrukh Gulamov, Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Zaher Al-Qatarneh, Deputy Minister of Investment of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
During the talks, the parties discussed enhancing cooperation in the investment sector, implementing joint projects, and strengthening interaction between business communities of the two countries.
As a result of the meeting, a Protocol was signed to establish a joint working group tasked with coordinating the execution of agreements reached at the highest level. The group’s key responsibilities include regular monitoring of ongoing initiatives, promptly addressing arising issues, and supporting projects at all stages of development and implementation.
The agreement is aimed at strengthening strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Jordan, opening new opportunities for investors, and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.
