Uzbekistan and Japan Expand Cooperation in Rehabilitation Services

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A working meeting was held in Tashkent between the Director of the National Agency of Social Security of Uzbekistan and Dr. Shigemi Kitahara, head of the Japanese institution “Kitahara International Hospital.”

During the discussions, both sides explored prospects for developing day-care and rehabilitation centers using advanced Japanese technologies.

Special attention was given to enhancing the skills of local specialists through modern methodologies practiced in Japan.

Both parties emphasized that introducing scientifically grounded and innovative approaches into the rehabilitation services system is a priority for Uzbekistan.

An agreement was reached on gradually expanding cooperation, launching training and practical programs for specialists, and developing joint initiatives aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of rehabilitation services in the country.
