Uzbekistan and Japan Discuss Cooperation in the Field of Justice

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 27 November 2025, an important meeting was held in Tokyo with a delegation led by the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan, focusing on the development of cooperation in improving administrative procedures and the legal framework of public administration. Japanese parliament member Keisuke Suzuki also participated in the event.

During the meeting, Keisuke Suzuki recalled his official visit to Uzbekistan in May 2025 as Japan’s Minister of Justice and praised the results achieved and agreements concluded at that time.

He emphasized his commitment to further strengthening constructive dialogue and practical cooperation between the two countries.

The parties discussed the exchange of experience in key areas, including the improvement of administrative procedures, the implementation of modern approaches in law enforcement practice, the digitalization of legislation, and the enhancement of transparency and efficiency in public services.

At the conclusion of the talks, both sides confirmed their readiness to consistently continue friendly and mutually beneficial cooperation in the legal sphere between Uzbekistan and Japan.
