Uzbekistan and Italy Expand Cooperation in Agro-Education

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of the business forum “Italy – Central Asia (C5) + Azerbaijan,” Uzbekistan and Italy are taking their collaboration in agricultural workforce training to a new level.

Vice President of Confagricoltura Luca Brondelli and Executive Assistant Kevin Pimpinelli visited the Institute for Advanced Training of Personnel under Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Agriculture.

During the visit, the parties discussed the institute’s key activities, including the preparation of specialists for temporary overseas employment. Particular attention was given to organizing short-term programs in Italian language and occupational safety for workers deployed from Uzbekistan to Italy.

The Italian delegation praised the modern infrastructure and learning conditions, expressing readiness to expand joint projects.

Following the meeting, both sides agreed to intensify knowledge and experience exchange in the agricultural sector, enhance workforce potential, and improve educational programs in line with international standards.

Experts note that the visit is significant for strengthening bilateral cooperation and developing a system for training specialists equipped with contemporary knowledge and in-demand skills.
