Uzbekistan and Italy Discuss Green Economy and B2B Platform
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan with representatives of the Italian delegation to discuss the transition to a green economy and the creation of a B2B platform for green technologies.
The meeting was attended by members of the delegation led by Federico Faila, Coordinator of the “Central Asia–Italy” Ministerial Meeting, as well as officials from the Ministry’s Coordination Department for the Transition and Development of the Green Economy.
During the discussion, the Ministry’s representatives provided the guests with a detailed overview of ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan related to climate change mitigation and green economy development, as well as the results achieved so far.
Particular attention was given to the creation of a B2B platform for green technologies between Central Asian countries and Italy, aimed at implementing coordinated initiatives within the framework of the “Central Asia–Italy” summit.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to continue developing cooperation through the platform to promote green technologies and strengthen bilateral economic ties.
