Uzbekistan and Italy discuss development of the new Tashkent airport
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Deputy Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Jasurbek Choriev held a meeting with Marco Troncone, Chief Executive Officer of Aeroporti di Roma (ADR).
The Italian side presented its experience in managing and modernizing major European airports, including Rome Fiumicino — one of Europe’s leading aviation hubs.
During the talks, the parties discussed opportunities for cooperation within the project to build the new Tashkent airport, particularly in the areas of strategic consulting, hub model development, the introduction of modern operational solutions, and optimization of the existing airport’s operations.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue jointly exploring potential areas of collaboration.
