Uzbekistan and Israel Discuss Expansion of Trade and Investment Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 29 December, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Uzbekistan, Gideon Lustig, focusing on the development of bilateral trade, economic, and investment cooperation.

During the talks, both sides noted the positive dynamics of Uzbek-Israeli trade and emphasized the potential for further expansion and diversification. Special attention was given to strengthening direct contacts between business communities in the two countries and enhancing practical collaboration between relevant institutions.

Priority topics discussed included attracting investments, expanding industrial cooperation, exploring opportunities for joint projects, and creating conditions for long-term participation of Israeli companies in Uzbekistan’s economy.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening practical cooperation and continuing constructive engagement on key areas of the bilateral agenda.
