Uzbekistan and Israel Discuss Expanding Bilateral Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 6 January 2026, Bakhramjon Aloev, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, met with Gideon Lustig, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Uzbekistan.

During the talks, the sides exchanged views on key items of the Uzbek-Israeli agenda and discussed prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation.

Particular attention was paid to expanding political dialogue, strengthening partnerships in the trade and economic sector, and implementing joint projects in culture, education, and humanitarian engagement.
