Uzbekistan and Iran Review Cooperation and Discuss Plans for 2026
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 23 December, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bahromjon Aloyev met with Mohammad Ali Eskandari, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Tashkent.
During the talks, the parties reviewed current bilateral agenda issues, summarized cooperation in political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres in 2025, and identified priority areas for collaboration in 2026.
Both sides expressed their readiness to continue working contacts to discuss key issues in bilateral relations.
