Uzbekistan and Iran discuss development of cooperation

The Iranian delegation held a meeting with the First Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Board of Uzbekiston Temir Yollari (Uzbekistan Railways) Achilbay Ramatov.

The parties discussed issues of development of cooperation in various sectors of the economy, in particular, road construction, transport and logistics.

It was noted at the meeting that effective use of new areas of cooperation, launch of the inter-regional transport corridor "Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Iran-Oman" is especially important.

The delegation members visited a number of ministries and organizations, exchanged views on the further development of bilateral cooperation.
