Uzbekistan and IQVIA Agree on Cooperation in Clinical Research

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 20 November 2025, Abdullah Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan, held a working meeting with representatives of IQVIA.

The discussions focused on prospects for developing clinical research in the country, implementing educational programs in this field, GCP certification, and improving regulatory review processes.

IQVIA representatives shared their experience working with the European Health Data Space (EHDS) and offered recommendations for adapting it to the national system. Additionally, a comparative analysis of current trends in clinical research based on international practice was conducted.

Following the meeting, both parties agreed to expand cooperation in clinical research, organize joint visits, and launch training programs aimed at enhancing the professional skills of specialists.
