Uzbekistan and Indonesia Strengthen Parliamentary Ties

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 17 March 2026, the inter-parliamentary groups “Uzbekistan–Indonesia” and “Indonesia–Uzbekistan” held an online meeting to discuss the development of bilateral parliamentary cooperation.

During the talks, participants focused on enhancing legislative collaboration, expanding economic and investment ties, promoting export operations, and organizing high-level visits.

The discussions highlighted the steady growth of relations between the two countries across political, trade, investment, educational, tourism, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. Emphasis was placed on the role of parliaments in ensuring timely and effective implementation of agreements.

Following the meeting, both sides agreed to actively advance inter-parliamentary dialogue and consistently strengthen cooperation between Uzbekistan and Indonesia.
