Uzbekistan and IFC Discuss Modernization of Transport Infrastructure
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Deputy Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Jasurbek Choriyev held talks with a delegation from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) led by Global Director for Advisory Services Linda Rudo.
The meeting focused on prospects for modernizing transport infrastructure, implementing advanced solutions, and adapting international experience through public-private partnership mechanisms.
IFC representatives outlined their approaches to strategic planning and the implementation of transport projects, including the development of sustainable and innovative transport systems.
Following the discussions, both sides confirmed their readiness to strengthen cooperation and explore the possibility of launching their first joint project in the transport sector.
