Uzbekistan and IFAD Discuss Investments and Innovations in Agriculture

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Munira Aminova, took part in a meeting between Minister of Agriculture Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov and Vice-President of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Donal Brown, held in Rome, Dunyo news agency reports.

During the talks, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation and promising directions for its further development.

Special attention was given to attracting investment in agriculture, ensuring the sustainable development of rural areas, and implementing modern innovative solutions in the agricultural sector.

Both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in strengthening partnership relations and in the implementation of new joint projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency and competitiveness of Uzbekistan’s agricultural industry.
