Uzbekistan and Huawei Discuss Cooperation in ICT and Security

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 10 December, Aziz Tashpulatov, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a working meeting with Tan Xiaoxiang, General Director of Huawei in Uzbekistan.

During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT) and security.

Special attention was given to the implementation of intelligent video surveillance systems for maintaining public order and combating crime, the use of advanced technologies in organizing mass and sports events, as well as the training of cybersecurity specialists.

The parties agreed on prospective tasks for introducing modern ICT solutions and implementing joint security projects, emphasizing the importance of developing human capital and exchanging expertise to ensure effective use of innovative technologies in education and professional training.
