Uzbekistan and HPE Networking Sign Memorandum of Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of the official visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the United States, a meeting was held between Minister Sherzod Shermatov, representatives of Uzbektelecom JSC, and Ivan Iagashagashvili, Director of Major Sales for Eastern Europe and the CIS at HPE Networking.
The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence, Big Data analytics, digitalization, and the development of modern telecommunications infrastructure. Special attention was given to sharing expertise in building resilient, intelligent, and secure network solutions.
Following the talks, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed, outlining plans to expand partnership in the areas of data transmission process automation, deployment of service cores, and the implementation of pilot innovation projects based on UZTELECOM’s infrastructure.
This new stage of collaboration with HPE Networking marks an important step toward enhancing the efficiency of telecom networks and the intelligent modernization of Uzbekistan’s digital infrastructure, contributing to the continued strengthening of the national digital ecosystem.
