Uzbekistan and Guangxi-Zhuang Discuss Expansion of Trade, Economic, and Educational Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Consulate General of Uzbekistan held a series of meetings with representatives of the government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, as well as with heads of economic and educational institutions in the region, Dunyo reports.
During the talks, participants discussed opportunities to deepen practical ties with regions of Uzbekistan and to expand cooperation between relevant agencies in trade and economic relations, investment, tourism, and education.
Special attention was given to an online meeting involving the leadership of Uzbekistan’s “Ipaksanoat” Association, Guangxi’s specialized research institute, and the regional sericulture development organization (Guangxi Sericulture Station).
The parties agreed to collaborate on improving the quality and yield of feed for silkworms, developing selective seed cultivation, conducting scientific research, and enhancing the professional skills of industry specialists.
Additionally, within the framework of the “CAEXPO” exhibition, a pavilion showcasing “National Products of Uzbekistan” was organized.
The pavilion, dedicated to the country’s handicrafts and textile products, export potential, and tourism opportunities, attracted significant interest from exhibition participants, officials, and visitors.
