Uzbekistan and Great Britain discuss prospects for development of bilateral relations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 1 November 2018, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the Deputy Director of the Department for Central Asia and Eastern Europe of Foreign and Commonwealth Officeof the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Rupert Ainley.

During the conversation, prospects for the development of relations between Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom, joint events, including bilateral meetings and negotiations at various levels, were discussed, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

It was noted that the parties are preparing for holding the next meeting of the Uzbek-British Trade and Industry Council in Tashkent, which is intended to intensify trade, economic, investment relations and lead to concrete results.

British Ambassador Christopher Alan took part in the talks.
