Uzbekistan and Germany Strengthen Dual Education and Skilled Workforce Development

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the German federal state of Saxony, the BSW Forum was held at the Saxon Center for Economic Education under the theme “Skilled Workforce — A Joint Look into the Future.” The event focused on dual education, workforce training, and international cooperation.

The forum brought together the Prime Minister of Saxony, Michael Kretschmer; Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Germany, Dilshod Akhatov; Advisor to the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Jamil Maksudi; as well as representatives of business structures, educational institutions, and international partner organizations.

Participants discussed global labor market challenges, international best practices in training young professionals, improvement of the dual education model, and effective management of workforce flows.

One of the key outcomes of the forum was the signing of a new memorandum to expand practical cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and BSW. The document extends the collaboration period and formalizes a three-year cooperation program, opening a new stage for joint initiatives in the training of skilled specialists.

Following the forum, working meetings were held between BSW leadership and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan to review the first stage of the joint project and determine priority directions for further work.

The BSW Forum and associated meetings contribute to strengthening strategic economic and educational cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany, as well as advancing the dual education system to a new level.
