Uzbekistan and Germany Discuss Expanding Economic Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Germany’s State Minister for European Affairs at the Federal Foreign Office, Günther Krichbaum, to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation.

The discussion focused on current collaboration between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Germany, emphasizing timely and effective implementation of agreements reached at the highest levels.

Both sides highlighted the outcomes of the recent ministerial meeting in the “Central Asia – Germany” format and paid particular attention to expanding trade, investment, and economic ties. They also exchanged views on pressing regional and international issues.

Minister Saidov emphasized that cooperation between the two countries continues to develop steadily, based on mutual trust, shared interests, and the pursuit of practical results.
