Uzbekistan and Germany Discuss Expanding Economic Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 25 November, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan between Deputy Minister Akram Aliev and Michael Harms, Executive Director of the Eastern Committee of German Economy.
During the talks, the central focus was on strengthening bilateral ties and the practical implementation of previously reached agreements. The parties discussed in detail steps to expand mutually beneficial cooperation and enhance the efficiency of existing projects.
Special attention was given to the prospects of attracting new German companies to Uzbekistan and further developing trade and economic relations. The participants noted that the potential for joint work remains significant and requires a systematic approach.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides confirmed their readiness to actively develop additional initiatives and emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation in new areas that contribute to the sustainable development of the partnership between Uzbekistan and Germany.
