Uzbekistan and FUJIFILM System Services Expand Cooperation in IT and Digital Education

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During his visit to Japan, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, held a meeting with Amane Inoue, Chairman of the Board of FUJIFILM System Services. The parties discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in information technology and digital education.

Special attention was given to the potential opening of a local office of the company in Uzbekistan, attracting local IT specialists—including those proficient in Japanese—and effectively utilizing their professional potential.

Initiatives to improve employment mechanisms for IT students and graduates were also discussed.

The parties considered the establishment of an export-oriented office of the company in Uzbekistan, which would provide infrastructure support, access to skilled personnel, legal and regulatory assistance, and administrative coordination.
