Uzbekistan and France discuss cooperation in healthcare sector

The delegation visited Tashkent within the cooperation between Ministry of Social Affairs and Healthcare of France and Ministry of Healthcare of Uzbekistan.

The delegation included representative of the state union on healthcare GIP Esther Farid Lamara, representative of Ministry of Social Affairs and Healthcare of France Emmanuelle Jouy and doctor of Saint-Antoine Hospital in Paris Frédéric Barbut.

They held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Healthcare of Uzbekistan Saydmurod Saydaliev and discussed development of cooperation in healthcare sector.

The delegation also visited various medical institutions and hospitals in Tashkent, as well as WHO Office in Uzbekistan, which helped to discuss preparations to Uzbek-French seminar on preventing intrahospital infections. The seminar will be held in Tashkent on 22-24 September 2014.
